Air ionization complements

electrostatic charge sources. In many areas, such as
Cleanrooms and in mini environments air ionization is the
only practical method of static control. Ionization can
neutralize static charges on insulative materials which
cannot be grounded and can be considered as the safety net
for effective ESD Control.

Top Gun
The new Top
Gun is a high performance ionizing air gun designed for
electronics and Cleanroom applications. The Top Gun features
high blow-off force to provide efficient cleaning and rapid
static charge decay. A filter at the exit of the gun ensures
that the air is clean. The gun body is lightweight but
durable. It features a light-touch trigger, making it
comfortable even for extended use. All functionality is
built into the gun, including a flow control valve, a
balance adjustment for calibration, and a two-level LED
which indicates both power and ionization. The gun and cable
are static dissipative. A hanger is provided for easy

The Air Ring
1000 uses a unique air amplification technology to
effectively move ionized air up to 150cm with virtually no
turbulence. Designed for applications in ultra-clean

PulseGuns
PG-8 and PG-5
The PulseGun
PG-8 blow off gun neutralizes static charges in
seconds and keeps particles from contaminating product
surfaces. This Cleanroom ionizing gun is specifically
designed for ultraclean environments.
An internal 0.2 micron filter eliminates the problem of
particle agglomeration in the gas supply line and makes the
PG-8 suitable for use in a Class 1 Cleanroom. The easily
replaceable filter cartidge lasts up to 3 months. The
shockless design of the PG-8 incorporates replaceable Class
1 electrodes.
It is powered by the AirFlow Controller AFC-2. The PulseGun
PG-5 is designed for cleaning and assembly applications
where constant or extended usage is required. Its powerful,
focused gas/air flow rapidly neutralizes static charges

Airflow
Controller AFC-2
The AirFlow
Controller provides power and control to the Pulse Gun PG-5
and PG-8. A silent, non-particulating switch incorporated
into the Controller allows ionizing voltages to be applied
only when there is flow of air or nitrogen through the
PulseGun.
All controls
are located on the front panel of the Controller, making it
convenient to mount above or below the workbench. The
Airflow Controller provides control of the ion balance with
independent voltage level controls and Pulse or Steady State
DC indicator lights.

AirSnake
AS-1 / AS-2
The AirSnake
AS-1 is a handsfree flexible ionizing nozzle that can be
positioned to produce a clean ionized stream onto a targeted
location. The AirSnake uses a 0,2 micron filter with filter
replacement quarterly. It is powered by the AirFlow
Controller AFC-2 and can be mounted anywhere using the
cleanroom compatible Velcro fasteners on the base. The nose
cone on the AirSnake meets OSHA pressure relief requirements
and contains easily replaced Class 1 electrodes.

AN2 / AN6
Air Nozzles
The AN2
PulsePoint Air Nozzle fits at the end of the gas line to
provide focused and continual ionization. It eliminates
potentially harmful static charges in seconds. The small
size of the AN2 enables the nozzle to be mounted on any
piece of equipment in physically restrictive areas where
static or surface particle contamination is a problem.
The AN2
In-Line Ionizing Air Nozzle fits where needed on the end or
in the middle of the air of nitrogen supply line. It allows
ionized gas to be directed through tubing to areas not
normally accessible.
Both nozzles
are powered by the AirFlow Controller AFC-2. When ultra
clean is required, the PGF8 filter easily screws into the
cavity of the AN2 or An6 Air Nozzle, bringing particles down
to 0.2 microns in size.

PGF8
Sub-Micron Filter
The PGF8 Sub
Micron filter is an external high efficiency 0.2 micron
DynaFibre filter designed to screw inside the nozzle cavity
of the AirSnake AS-1 and As-2, the Air Nozzle AN2 and Air
Nozzle AN6. The replaceable PGF8 filter has over 1.450 cm2
of effective filtration area and an expected service life of
three months. It is made of polycarbonate housing with a
filter media of hollow fibre. Replacement takes seconds and
requires no tools.
